“Afraid so…” he admitted, sheepishly.
“So there’s a lot of fighting going on then, basically?” Minato assumed.
“Hmph, I see. Yeah, battles all the damn time. I hope you know how to fight.” He returned his gaze to the teen. “Well, hopefully you won’t have to.”

“Hey, thanks for that. I’ll do my best to keep you entertained.”
“It takes forever to fix my hair…”
Though he says forever, the reality was it only takes him ten minutes but he simply hated doing the task. Thinking for a moment of how he could get Heat back, he couldn’t come up with anything.
“I’ll get you back… one day.”
“Forever? Really? I didn’t think you cared about stuff like that. You know, this is something I can use against you now.” Heat grinned. “Looks like I can use hair ruffling to upset you whenever I want to. Don’t worry, it’s not like I’ll do it every day. Maybe just every other day. Or every other minute. Who knows.”
It’s not like he would do that. He was just messing with Serph some more.
“Hah, I can’t wait to see what you’ll have in store for me when that day comes.”

This certainly makes his damn day. Finally decides to take a walk, and look where it gets him. Either way, he’s on the defensive.
“Who the hell are you, some look-alike sent by those Solids trash? Funny joke, except I’m not laughing.”
And talk fast.
“Me? A look-alike? No, I’m not. I’m pretty damn sure you’re the look-alike here. Either that or this world is starting to mess up.”
What was with the Junkyard these days? First there were random things showing up that seemed familiar, but Heat had no idea what he was looking at. Now there appears to be a clone right in front of him. What was the deal with that?
He shook his head. “What’s happening here?”

“The…Junkyard?” Minato repeated, confused.
“Well, it’s nice to meet you, Heat…and I’m not sure how I got here, to be honest.”
“What? You don’t even know how you got here? Huh. Maybe there’s some way we can get you back to wherever you came from.”
Heat looked around while he spoke to the other. “Be careful. This place is pretty intense. It’s eat or be eaten here.”
I know it’s simple and stuff but…
I really, really love my new sidebar picture.
Serph reached to grab Heat’s hand to stop him from messing up his hair any more. Succeeding; he looked at the taller male as he pouted, unamused that his hair was messed up.
A laugh escaped his lips. Looks like Serph didn’t want any more hair ruffling. Well, Heat knew that already. It’s not his fault that it was fun to mess with the leader. He couldn’t help himself.
▷ Oh Heat~ [Ew gross ignore this title.]
“Eat some rations, wrap it up and you will be fine. If you had some common sense and listened to me, than we would not be sitting in filth with decreased HP.” Gale sneered.
“I warned you at the start; I do not play, neither do I joke. The safety and wellbeing of my comrades holds a greater importance over a children’s game…Which I seem to have won. Tag.”
The demon flicked Heat on the forehead and at his own pace, stood up and wiped the mud off of himself. Not a perfect job, but getting dirty was only natural. He could always bathe later. Gale immediately noticed the presence of some strange structures, placed in close proximity to a box of sand. Familiar, yet, like many things that popped up in the Junkyard of late, it didn’t belong.
“Dammit, like I said, I thought you were trying to fool me! If we weren’t playing a game at the time, I would of listened!”
Heat took a deep breath and glared at Gale. “I was just giving it a try. There was nothing else going on so why the hell not? It’s just a-“
He moved back a little from the flick his comrade gave him. Tch. Of course that would happen. The red haired demon stood up. Might as well start taking care of the wound. He ripped a part of his cape off and began to wrap it around his head. Once it was wrapped enough, he tied it up. Heat glanced at Gale and noticed what he was looking at. “The hell are those?”
▷ Trash Mountain
“I do not know. The same thing can be asked about everything else in the Junkyard. It would be best if you did not think about it too much.”
Gale sighed heavily and squatted down in front of some tattered cloth bags at the side of the ‘mountain’.
“Let us begin before our work load increases further. There may be something of use to us in here; keep an eye out. We can sell the items we don’t need; that is, if we find anything of material value.”
“Tch, like anything is gonna be useful. But, whatever, I’ll keep my eyes open.”
There was nothing they could use in this huge junk pile. Nothing was useful here. Nothing at all. It was just wrappers and papers.
Why was he even cleaning in the first place? Heat growled to himself. He wasn’t a maid. Wait… Maid. What the hell was a maid? Where did that word even come from? Why did it just pop into his head? Like he needed more shit to deal with!
Shaking his head, Heat continued to throw stuff in the box.
